Job Description

At Kustom, we bring order to chaos after disaster strikes - restoring property, stability, and peace of mind for businesses across the country. Our Business Development team is the engine behind that mission, and our National Account Executives are responsible for building and growing strategic, enterprise-level partnerships nationwide.

This role is designed exclusively for true business development professionals operating at a national level with demonstrated success selling to multi-state, multi-site portfolios.

What You Do

As a National Account Executive, you operate at the enterprise level - building trust long before loss events, responding with urgency when they occur, and coordinating execution across markets. You’re successful in this role because you:

  • Drive National Growth - Build and expand enterprise and national accounts across multi-state, multi-site client portfolios
  • Maintain Strategic Pipelines - Own a disciplined, accurate pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring visibility, accountability, and reliable forecasting

  • Operate at the Executive Level - Confidently engage senior leaders, risk managers, and executive decision-makers across large organizations
  • Lead with Urgency - Stay calm, credible, and decisive when large-scale or multi-location losses occur
  • Collaborate Across the Business - Partner closely with operations, estimating, and emergency response teams to mobilize quickly and execute consistently nationwide
  • Coordinate Complex Execution - Align divisions, regions, and service lines to deliver seamless outcomes for national clients
  • Anticipate Risk & Opportunity - Monitor national trends, high-risk events, and relevant industry activity to proactively support client needs
  • Identify Portfolio-Wide Growth - Uncover cross-sell and expansion opportunities across verticals such as hospitality, healthcare, multifamily, industrial, senior living, storage, and more
  • Represent Kustom Nationally - Serve as a trusted brand ambassador at national industry events, conferences, and executive client meetings
What You Bring

You’re not just selling - you’re advising, guiding, and helping organizations navigate some of the most complex and high-pressure moments they’ll ever face. You’ll thrive here if you are:

  • Proactive & Strategic - Proven success managing enterprise or national B2B accounts and driving growth across multi-state, multi-site client portfolios
  • Relationship-Focused - Comfortable engaging senior leaders, risk managers, and executive stakeholders, building trust at every level of large organizations
  • An Excellent Communicator - Confident presenting complex solutions, negotiating national agreements, and following through with clarity and credibility
  • Detail-Driven & Accountable - Highly disciplined in CRM usage (Salesforce preferred) with an ownership mindset and accurate pipeline management
  • Adaptable & Resilient - Able to respond quickly, stay composed, and make decisions under pressure when urgent, large-scale events occur
  • Experienced & Curious - Restoration experience is a plus, but proven success selling complex services at scale and a drive to continuously learn are essential
  • Ready to Mobilize - Willing and able to travel nationally to support multi-state and multi-site clients as needs arise
