Job Description

We are searching for a Brewer to oversee all packaging tasks, ensuring brewing, cellaring, and packaging duties are completed with maximum efficiency and safety. This role is best suited for someone who wants to work alongside the brewing team and play an integral role in the production line for the company. BREWER QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of the brewing process, troubleshooting quality & production issues
• Strong knowledge and understanding of brewery equipment, including maintenance and repair for our canning line
• Proficiency in all aspects of a production cellar, packaging, cleaning, and quality control of ingredients, chemicals, and equipment
• Capability of overseeing a chain of raw materials, and ability to ensure the end product is crafted to established standards from 3bbl brewhouse wort production to the end product.
• Proficient understanding of Dissolved Oxygen in packaged beer and how to continuously improve to limit/ eliminate it
• Must possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation, forklift operation is a plus
• A self-starting work ethic and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing situations

BREWER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the Head Brewer in any and all aspects of the packaging of beer (ordering and receiving materials, transferring, cellaring, cleaning, packaging, quality control and assurance, plant operations)
• Develops and maintains SOPs for all scopes of work, including preventative maintenance and production
• Measures and minimizes downtime on the packaging line via continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving
• Keep accurate inventory and quality management of materials and chemicals

BREWER COMPENSATION

• Salary of 48-55K plus bonuses or hourly $22 to 27 per hour
