Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within a public school setting, supporting elementary and high school students across multiple locations in the Silver Spring, MD area. The position is a contract role, lasting through the current school year, focusing on providing behavioral support to students under the Pyramid Program. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 behavioral support or programmatic assistance to students as assigned Implement behavior intervention plans designed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student needs Participate in ongoing training and professional development under school-provided supervision Qualifications: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required Experience supporting children with behavioral needs in educational environments preferred Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and consistent support to students Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work in designated school settings with students requiring 1:1 or programmatic interventions Locations: Walkersville High School (1:1 support) Centerville Elementary, Urbana, MD (Programmatic support) New Market Elementary (1:1 support) Contract Details: Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: June 12 School year contract duration This contracted role provides an excellent platform to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences while gaining valuable school-based behavioral support experience.
