Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Defense (Remote, California-Based)

We’re looking for a seasoned Associate Attorney with a strong background in Civil Litigation Defense to join our growing firm. This is a fully remote opportunity for a driven legal professional who thrives in complex litigation and values autonomy, support, and meaningful work.

???? What You’ll Work On
– High-impact cases across Construction Defect, Personal Injury, Insurance Coverage, Business Litigation, Tort Litigation, Professional Negligence, Environmental Torts, Subrogation & Recovery, Products Liability, and Common Carrier Litigation
– Represent clients from case inception to resolution in both state and federal courts
– Develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings and motions, and lead discovery
– Advise clients on risk management and legal strategy
– Negotiate settlements and advocate in mediations
– Stay ahead of legal trends and ensure compliance
– Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel for seamless case management

– JD from an accredited law school
– Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
– 5+ years of hands-on experience in civil litigation defense
– Proven success managing cases independently
– Sharp analytical, research, and advocacy skills
– Clear, confident communication—written and verbal
– Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines
– A client-first mindset and collaborative spirit
