Join our dynamic team at ISG, a leading architecture and engineering firm, as an Architect supporting our Food and Industrial Business Unit. Applicants should have enthusiasm for big picture strategy, developing relationships, and designing industrial and food processing facilities.

As an Architect for ISG, you will be an Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. In this role, you will work directly with Jeremy Wiesen, Architecture Practice Group Leader. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for design and project collaboration, project execution, code review and evaluations, specification writers, visualization specialists, and construction administrators.

We are looking to add your design expertise to continue supporting similar projects. Here are more details:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Work directly with clients in all phases of design process, including master planning, funding development, programming, and presenting.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external peers to develop high performing teams and increase potential opportunities.
• Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-discipline team.
• Direct the development and preparation of project contract documents.
• Serve as a mentor and leader that demonstrates a high degree of professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned or instructed.

Regardless of your office, you will assist in winning and executing work within the Food and Industrial Business Unit throughout the entire ISG footprint. Because of this, travel may be necessary at times. These trips are usually 1-2 days and happen a few times a month.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or master’s degree from an accredited architecture program.
• Licensed to practice architecture.
• Ability to connect and promote ISG’s solutions to clients.
• Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal communications.
• Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums.
• Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development.
