LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our clients located in Livermore, California. The position is 100% in-office! The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections. Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Post and reconcile daily deposits to customer accounts.
- Contact customers for outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions.
- Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections
- Experience with a medium to large ERP preferred software package (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work & Excel - Intermediate)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field would be nice to have
