  • Data-Informed Practice and Continuous Improvement

  • Use student success dashboards, CRM systems (e.g., Advise, Banner, Degree Works), and data analytics to monitor advising activity, appointment trends, and alert patterns.

  • Maintain detailed advising records and notes in accordance with FERPA and university standards.

  • Contribute to institutional assessment efforts by providing feedback on outreach and student engagement trends.

  • Collaboration and Campus Partnerships

  • Participate in cross-functional committees or working groups focused on student success and persistence.

  • Professional Development and Leadership

  • Stay current on student success research, advising best practices, and equity-minded strategies in higher education.

  • Engage in professional learning and contribute to an institutional culture of continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in academic advising, student success coaching, or a comparable student support role

  • Effective decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with higher education technology systems (e.g., Banner, Peoplesoft, CRM Advise, Degree Works)

  • Familiarity with early-alert systems, and data-informed retention strategies
